Ronna G. Miller, MD
Dr. Miller is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Emergency Medicine, Section of EMS, Disaster Medicine and Homeland Security at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UT Southwestern). Dr. Miller also serves as a core member of the full-time faculty of the National Disaster Life Support (NDLS) National Training Center of Texas at UT Southwestern. Dr. Miller serves as an Assistant EMS Medical Director in the University of Texas/BioTel Dallas area metropolitan EMS System, with extensive experience in provider education, protocol development and Quality Assurance. Dr. Miller was a founding volunteer member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Medical Reserve Corps and serves on the Newsletter and Training/Volunteer Development, and Communication Steering Committees. Dr. Miller has participated in many disaster exercises throughout North Central Texas and has served as a professional consultant for the Tarrant County Public Health Department in development of disaster training exercises and curricula. |
