- • 0.1 mg/Kg IV or IO
• Do not exceed 4 mg cumulative dose
• Ondansetron tablet (Zofran ODT) sublingually: Below 15 Kg, give 2 Mg, but don’t give
to child less than 2 years old. Above 15 Kg, give 4 Mg.

- Is not effective in every patient
- Patients who fail to respond to a single IV dose often do not respond to additional doses

- Burning sensation at the site of injection

- Hypersensitivity
- Do not administer to children under the age of two years
