About BioTel

The BioTel EMS System supplies emergency medical services evaluation in the prehospital area to over two hundred thousand people per year in the Dallas metropolitan area. Member agencies responded to over two hundred thousand requests for service last year.

Medical direction for the system is provided through the University of Texas Southwestern, under the leadership of Dr. Paul Pepe. Dr. Pepe is one of the recognized world experts in resuscitation, EMS and emergency medicine research, and in medical direction of EMS systems.
